    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    it was an easy fix!

    (that was me testing something) (should have changed it before i posted it srry!)

    my problem was : i didn't use whatismyip.org :s (stupid!)

    thanks anyways!

    Edit: now to get the rss feeds to work....(trying to get slashdot...but it doesnt go :s) // help!!!

    Code:
    rss url delay_in_minutes action item_num Download and parse RSS feeds. Action may be one of the following: feed_title, item_title (with num par), item_desc (with num par) and item_titles.
    ^^ can't make that work....

    gotten this far
    Code:
    ${color white} ${rss http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdot/to 2 feed_title 5}
    but this displays: ${rss}

     You can format this file to your liking. Two things you may feel
     like doing:

        1) Modify the layout of the fields or static text already defined
        2) Add other fields from the XML response file that aren't referenced in this
           XSLT. You can grab a full list by just doing a:
               wget "http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/$LOCID?cc=*&unit=$UNITS"
               (change $LOCID and $UNITS to suit your needs)

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    The biggest and perhaps most annoying issue yet is the fact that there is no way to align this bloody thing to the center (middle) of the top or bottom, it has to be left or right.

    *pulls hair out*

    -resolved-
    Do not use alignment for middle, use the size section just above it *slaps forehead*
    for anyone with 1440x900, that size for direct middle/top is 1100
