Just slight variation in design... Oh man I love those old-time typewriter fonts! This is MyUnderwood.ttf found at dafont.com, by Michael Tension who has made some other amazing old-skool fonts too.

I never use smilies, but there are exceptions that prove the rule [Hey, how do I disable showing colon & parenthesis as an emoticon in my signature?]

Thanks Bruce! I did not do much, though, just changed the font. But it is nice. And I like the idea that the designer actually used his own old Underwood typewriter for the job, to get genuine shapes.

The font made my conky set-up look like a "calligram" of sorts, even though it does not really depict anything.

The missing degree symbol (on the line "ACPI temp.: 48[°]C") makes it even more genuine-looking...

Well, when you combine the "unique" layout, with the font and the colour one has to admit you have a conky with a flair of an artists touch.

That's what I meant by "you do nice work"

Curious: Does your 44°C ever change? I tried ACPI here and it never changed.

Yes, quite a bit too, varying between 40-60°C. Maybe you have a very smart and efficient fan, keeping it so steady...?

Launchpad has made changes to the apt archives so I have updated the installation guides for my conky scripts. Take a look at any of the script threads for more info...essentially my ppa can now be authenticated using a public key

Whatever script you have created to start conky (conkymain or startconky or an-other) you need to point to...if you haven't got a script then it will be just plain old "conky" or "conky -c /path/to/conkyrc"
