    Did that work on your end?
    No Joy here.
    Tried with
    Code:
    ${exec 600 tail /var/log/iptraf}
    And
    Code:
    ${execi 600 tail /var/log/iptraf)
    We are both thinking along the same lines I was trying something like this
    Code:
    ${exec your_script.sh}

    I don't have iptraf installed but that is my usual M.O. for getting logs into conky.

    Yah! Mine too.
    But iptraf run's in terminal as root, So all logs are root owned.
    That's what stumping me ATM.
    Thanks Habitual

    Don't really know how iptraf works but when I run...
    Code:
    sudo iptraf -i eth0
    no log file is created. The /var/log/iptraf directory exists but is empty.

    If I specify a log file location in my home directory or /tmp
    Code:
    sudo iptraf -i eth0 -L /tmp/iptraf.log
    ...then the log can be accessed as my normal user....
    Code:
    tail /tmp/iptraf.log

    Cool Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    Not really a full conky configuration, just my calendar!

    Colors are already configurable in the script. If someone needs more from it, open an issue and it may get implemented

    CantankRus Thank You!
    It is a little rough now, But I now have a good start to edit it further.

    IPTraf was kind of a challenge

    I removed some details from the screenshot.
    I think I could have chosen an easier monitor to work with but what the heck.
