    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    Thanks for this I really do like it, but, is it possible for you to translate the German words to English, but only the ones that appear on the screen? I'd be very grateful if you could do it please.

    Thanks
    Sharon.

    Nevermind. I woke up this moening, turned the computer on... and all three conkys are working.
    I don't know what the problem was, but it's gone now.
    Thank you.

    OK. That happens.... But if it happens again ... there's an Oops! you are missing that needs to be looked at.

    I saw no error in your terminal output ... which was strange.

    Maybe:
    Code:
    killall conky && conky &
    if there is no conky running it errors out with:
    Code:
     11 Jun 13 | 12:17:32 ~
        $ killall conky && conky &
    [1] 31946
    conky: no process found
    [1]+  Exit 1                  killall conky && conky

     11 Jun 13 | 12:17:37 ~
        $
    then just:
    Code:
     11 Jun 13 | 12:17:37 ~
        $ conky &
    [1] 31952

     11 Jun 13 | 12:18:17 ~
        $ Conky: forked to background, pid is 31957

    Conky: desktop window (264) is root window
    Conky: window type - normal
    Conky: drawing to created window (0x1600001)
    Conky: drawing to double buffer
    should work.

    Hey very good PetroDawg. It's only missing one thing right under:
    Code:
    ${font arial black:size=10}${color green}UP-TIME ${color}${font arial black:size=9}COMPUTER${color green} ${hr 2}$color$font
    there should be a:
    Code:
    ${font arial black:size=10}${color green}UP-TIME ${color}${font arial black:size=9}ME${color green} ${hr 2}$color$font
    ${uptime - 45 seconts}

    ... kicking the start button (figuratively speaking) on the way to the kitchen to get a java.
