    i believe this was the precursor to v9000
    and it had a big memory leak that i never got around to fixing

    I thought it looked familiar - but was afraid my neurons were in meltdown...

    Thanks mrpeachy - you actually did two similar to that, Now to find it. ... got it, here's my version on the same page. That had a memory leak? I never noticed. I have it in a window, looked at it and closed it.

    Now I know what ragamatrix was talking about.

    well, it was reported to have one

    i had lots of idead about things i wanted to do in conky
    but i didnt know anything about writing scripts so i was at the mercy of others to write the code for me.

    the problem was when they weren't interested in doing it, I was stuck. This situation is what prompted me to start writing lua scripts for myself and the rest is history

    Right now I'm in a phase where, unless the mood takes me, I don't plan on writing any new code.
    Hi Mr Peachy;
    You're right I got many ideas, until the point everything is messy in the brain...I just got ideas, I take some piece of lua code and I'm trying to understand how it works.I don't want that you write code for me I will feel confused, I just need to understand the first steps.When things will be clearer I'll send the idea and codes.
    Regards; and thanks a lot for your advices.

    Hi !
    The idea begins with this (first steps with lua ), inspirated by the "weathercircle" I made "conkychronoweathercircle" (it looks like a german word)

    Yes it does look like a German word. Shorten it to: CCWC

    Very nice! I like that!

    Green centres indicate under development. The bottom 24HR Clock is what is configured here.

    @Sector11
    You made really beautifull work !!
    Bravo !

    I'm modifying the script lua where there quadrants of baro and wind; wich is a Mr Peachy code and it' really interesting because of the differents scales
    Knots;mph;kmh displayed on the quadrant...I'd like to ad some icons and I tried this at the begining of the script :
    Code:
    --set location of weather images
    weathericons="~/v9000/additional_files/weathericons/"
    After I don't know where I can call it...?May be here but it does't
    work
    Code:
    --#########################################
    --current conditions display
    text="Conditions:";txt(text,300,430,"Mono",12,1,1,1,1)
    text="Température: "..now.tmp.."°, Plafond: "..now.cel;txt(text,260,445,"Mono",10,1,1,1,1)
    text=now.con;txt(text,300,470,"Mono",22,1,1,1,1)
    -
    Something like that:
    Code:
    image.now 20 10 80 80
    I'm a little bit lost to display icon.
    I'm here with only quadrants:

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    The current wind is 12km/h but the Hand in the quadrant doesn't move ?
