    Of course, I'm using the Vindsl draw_bg lua...I won't post that again. I would give credits to the original creators, or at least the people I copied code from, which, in turn, copied from someone else; but I honestly don't remember anymore. But I thank you anyway.

    Currently, I'm working on a gcalendar template...No more gcalcli.

    The reason some need "sleep" is to wait for the Desktop to setup, if you are having not problems like seeing your conky start and then the wallpaper covers it then you can shorten the script to this:

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh
    sleep 20 &   # Wait 20 seconds
    conky -c ~/.Conky/.conkyrc-main &
    conky -c ~/.Conky/.conkyrc-wireless &

    The replies from mrpeachy & sector11 didn't work. I tried the ssc.sh script in the link from sector11, that didn't work. I tried putting the scripts as autostart and the generic script starts but not mine.

    @nkbielst - Nice conky.

    But if you start them manually after the system is running everything works?

    Nice stuff ... soon you'll ge answering questions!
    We all carbon copy code, it's a tradition I think.
    I normally say it's been "cloned"

    Saw this is a post someplace:
    vrkalak wrote:

    ^ paolo . . . very nice.

    When it comes to designing your own Conky (or the OS for that matter) . . . you build what works for you.

    What matters is that 'you' like it and it does what 'you' want it to do or look like.

    And with GNU/Linux and Open Source . . . there is no such thing as 'stealing' tongue

    Hopefully, everything we do with the program/application only makes it better and easier for someone else to configure and add to.

    lol just don't play with your Conky, too much ... it'll make you go blind

    Agree 100% I saw it said once that it was CCCC - not sure what it means but it was something like (if not) Co-operative Collective Conky Community - I just call it "Cloned"

    EDIT: I went looking, the quote comes from londonali1010:

    Works in Portuguese too!

    And I do believe Spanish as well: La Colaboración de la Comunidad Creativa de Conky

    Commonly referred to as: Your conky has been C4'd

    And I'd like to add that conky is like disto-hopping, once you've got the bug there is no stopping without the aid of a "1200 Step Program"

    Can I played with my conky until I needed glasses!

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    It's a longshot but try renaming your config files.

    ~/.Conky/.conkyrc-main rename to ~/.Conky/.main
    ~/.Conky/.conkyrc-wireless rename to ~/.Conky/.wireless

    Try that for all of them. My thought is trying to keep things simple.
    Here's my startup, give it a try
    Code:
    #!/bin/sh
    if [ "$(pidof conky)" ]; then
        killall conky
    sleep 12 && conky -c ~/.zoraclock &
    sleep 10 && conky -c ~/conky/conky &
        exit
    else
    sleep 12 && conky -c ~/.zoraclock &
    sleep 10 && conky -c ~/conky/conky &
        exit
    fi

    Oh...you're right. I forgot to post that script.
