    No. Post the ENTIRE script. Not just that section. Helps more to see if it's an issue with the setting or if it's a problem with some of the script's structure. And use "[ CODE ]" tags instead of quote tags. Trust me. Much better.

    42dorian, I was wondering if you seen my last post on the previous page? The script is kinda old. Should I keep it and try to fix the bars the way I want to or should I just try to figure out a new lua?

    I mean this with all the love in the world, but why ask me? I'm not a Lua guy. I do know it's better to post the code in code tags than to upload a zip file. It's easier on everyone this way. When my lua scripts break, I'm lost for days. I'm probably one of the last people to ask. But, for wlorf's convenience (And probably the other, about 5, lua guys too) I'd say drop your code into some code tags and let them see it at a browse instead of a download.

    Just a convenience thing, I know. But, it'll help in the process. I just want you to get as easy a solution as possible.

    AH. Yes. I wish I could help, but my success with my lua scripts has been under the strict oversight of mrpeachy and dk75. I've only had a very limited amount of experience. I am, by far, not qualified to help you. I wish I could be, but I'm not that good yet.

    I get nothing when I put ${wireless_bitrate} or ${wireless_bitrate eth1} in the TEXT section. I've tried renaming the interface to wlan0 but that didn't help, created other problems.

    All of the conky wireless variables return zero, nothing, or unk unless conky is run as sudo. A lot of people have this same problem, I haven't seen a solution.
