    "[ Code ]" Tags are your friend. There's more to be said, like, do you have "Sensors" installed on your system? That might be the first place I'd look. If you don't have sensors installed, running a script to look for it won't help you.

    *EDIT* Okay. I gave up looking at that code. First off, you're very new to this, and so I'm just going to point you in the direction you need to help you. Install Screenruler from the repositories, or type the following code into a command prompt (Really the same thing.)
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install screenruler
    and visit these places to get you going. ESPECIALLY go to Conky Objects. Look at the goto and voffset commands. You NEED these, bad.

    Here, these will help you out a lot:
    Conky Configuration Variables (Above the TEXT section.)
    Conky Objects (Below the TEXT section.)
    Conky Pitstop (Source for how-to-use scripts.)
    kaivalagi's weather script.
    kaivalagi's misc scripts.
    Other kaivalagi python scripts for use with Conky.

    We'll talk fonts and reloading when you've had some experience here.

    An adaptation of the VinDSL config combined with a script by George dH for External storage devices:

    Startup script:
    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
    sleep 2;
    exec conky
    exit
    Conky.rc:

I know for certain that wireless networks have their own unique objects like link quality and such, I'm not positive if the up and down traffic is incompatible. Let me get back to you on that.
    I have eth1 in my conky. it wont show the signal strength, bitrate, or network. It is kind of an odd wireless, since it is an adhoc network from my cell phone.

    Tried to highlight some stuff. You had a spelling mistake on one of your objects, which I corrected in Blue And a few things that made no sense, I highlighted in Red since they're things that really have no place in an adhoc wireless connection to a Cell Phone.

    Last night, I noticed that you used ' km/h ' in your post.

    I used ' kph ' in the script because that's what weather.com uses. However...

    I was thinking about it, when I awoke this morn, and did a little research.

    You are correct! ' km/h ' is the official unit symbol, according to BIPM.

    Since I'm already running a regex against the weather.com feed, it's a simple matter to correct their colloquial abbreviation.

    I fixed that, and will do a full data dump in a couple of minutes.

    WOAH! No. No Vin, stop right there. Don't correct it. Km/H is identical to Kph. Km/H is the Scientific notation, Kph is the Meteorological. This is weather data. Kph is correct.

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    ...I don't know how to say this... mrpeachy? Your bandwidth total script has broken for me, and I can't find where. When I loaded the network conky as usual after my reinstall, it started to crash. It would just freeze and take up 90+% processor. When I hashed out the lua loading for the script, it ran normally minus the total arc. When I run it from a command prompt, I get it loading normally until the first time it prints the number result from vnstat, and then it all freezes and I get no more results.

    Any idea? 'Cause you did things I still can't quite process in that script.

When I hashed out the lua loading for the script, it ran normally minus the total arc. When I run it from a command prompt, I get it loading normally until the first time it prints the number result from vnstat, and then it all freezes and I get no more results.

    Any idea? 'Cause you did things I still can't quite process in that script.
    im on a new os install and i havnt set up vnstat yet (plus once i do its gonna take some time for the database to give me any info)

    maybe thats why?
    can you type vnstat -m (i think thats what you type for month) into a terminal and get numbers?
