Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    Hi,

A new desktop with Openbox and without panel, the conkyrc is very minimal, everything is done with the Lua script.
On the first capture, the script draw only the Ubuntu Logo.
A script to toggle display of informations, so in the second capture we can see some informations

The link to the wallpaper (the black one, not the logo of course : http://arpinux.deviantart.com/art/Da...iant-159545835)

If you try it, there are some parameters to set but it's very easy and it's explained in the readme.

but they dont show my cpu core temps

Now the trick is to figure out which temp is which.

Enter your BIOS (reboot press what ever key it says on your screen, usually F1 F2 or Del), browse through the menus and see if you can find any temps. Note the order (it's often in the same order as lm-sensors uses), note the names and the temps. The temps in you BIOS should be more or less the same as when you're in linux and your linux isn't doing much.

If that doesn't help figuring out which temp is the CPU, try stressing the CPU and see what temp rises most. A virus scan that lasts a couple of minutes should stress your CPU enough.

Same goes for the fans. Check what your BIOS says, if that doesn't help open your case and gently slowdown a fan and check which fan speed drops. Don't slow them down to much, you don't want to fry any chips.

i know what the temps represent, one is cpu one is VRM and other is the motherboard sensor

i know which one each fan is as well, just i wanted to get the cpu cores showing up

as i "fold" and i wont fold unless i can monitor my temps
