Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

For cpu temp i use this simple trick:
    Code:
    ${acpitemp}°C
For graphic (if i you use nvidia) try:

    Code:
    ${execi 8 nvidia-settings -q gpucoretemp | grep nov | cut -c42-43} °C
    or

    Code:
    ${execi 60 nvidia-settings -query GPUCoreTemp | perl -ne 'print $1 if /GPUCoreTemp.*?: (\d+)./;'} °C
    or see here:

Hi vickoxy...So did you get 1.8.0_rc1 or rc2 working? The widget looks great If you are interested, I have a PPA with Conky Widgets in it, and the version of Conky Widgets has all the widgets in it that I've created IYKWIM. It includes the "calendar page" widget as well. Only thing to watch out for is that the package installs the conkywidgets.lua script in /usr/share/scripts/ instead of ~/scripts/.

Incidentally, since there are a number of other widgets out there, would anyone be interested in creating a project on Launchpad? I am considering ways to make it slicker and more user-friendly, but I still want it to be a Conky plug-in. Anyway, PM me if you're interested!

    Default images in two places:

    /usr/share/pixmaps

    /usr/share/icons
