3d mark tests DirectX performance. Linux does not use DirectX but OpenGL.
To benchmark Open GL have a look at GLobs

Bah, tar.gz.
I've tried GLobs... It's really good ^_^
Wanna a deb?
Here you are... http://3v1n0.tuxfamily.org/pool/edgy...untu0_i386.deb
^_^
PS: link may change, check this repo if you get a 404...
Installed, went to run it, nothing happens.
Shell output?
(dredging up this post)
Nothing happens for me either. It installs OK from the .deb, no errors, and it's in the Applications menu under System Tools but it doesn't do anything. System monitor shows no increased activity and there isn't any new process listed that I can see.
Hardware: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz/ 4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM/ nVidia 9600GT 512MB/ Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G
That fuzzy feeling in your head is your brain working, thanks to Linux!
