    [SOLVED] full screen reducing to small window

    while playing sauerbraten the game plays fine in full screen with about 170 fps, but then after a while it reduces to a small window and the buttons do not affect what is happening in that small screen bu t it stills runs, could someone please help me to stop this happening.


    i am running gutsy on a quadcore 7950 graphics card

    Disable compiz if it's activated. I had exactly the same problem with it.

    If it's already deactivated, just play the game in a screen, and set the desktop to the same resolution as the game. That way, it looks fullscreen, and it probably won't crash.

    I am having a similar problem. The game starts in a windowed state, and I can move w/ the arrows, wasd, etc. but the mouse dosnt work. Any help??

    There are two solutions for this. Try one of these:

    1. Start Advanced Compiz Settings and disable "Unredirect Fullscreen Windows" in "General Options --> General".
