    Small thing here
When you execute the script and the prompt pops up, if you hit cancel, it doesn't put back your old sources.list or give you an option to do that.

Alrighty. If the magnitude of my own incompetence hasn't sent you away totally frustrated, disgusted, and disillusioned, here's alpha 3. Now it restores the old sources.list if you should choose to not use BUMPS and I'll eat my hat if channels.edgy still has the incorrect entries for Seveas and the metapackage repository.

edit: I had a network problem at work.
    Removed my irrelevant post.

Everything seems to work as it should.

Hmm, this is what's not working:
When I insert a DVD, the movie starts playing in Totem. Everything's fine so far.

But... I cannot start the movie by myself.
In totem, it gives me the "you do not have the appropriate plugins to handle it" error.

    Any suggestions?

Does BUMPS support edgy yet? Can anyone say for sure?

I'll tell you my own experience, which is that BUMPS 2.0 Alpha 3 works without a hitch on my Edgy installation. I'm considering just retitling it to BUMPS 2.0 because I've really not been getting feedback and haven't seen any problems with it.

It works fine here, I say call it a release. There will be many Edgy people looking for bumps in just a few days when edgy is released.

    HI landefor,

Using Alpha3 on fresh edgy install yields still the following error message:

    Err http://www.politicalcrossfire.com dapper/main Packages
    404 Not Found

Thanks for your work and help

You certain that's Alpha 3? That sources.list entry doesn't even exist in either sources.list in Alpha 3.
