    Hello,
I installed Ubuntu alongside Windows, but after installation, the GRUB menu didn't appear. I tried asking for help from ChatGPT, but nothing worked. Now when I enter the boot menu, I see two options for Ubuntu. Could anyone help me fix this issue? photo - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kvG...kW5T_RHwr/view

No, not with the information you have posted. You don't even indicate if you can boot either Ubuntu or windows or whether they are on the same drive or installed in UEFI or Legacy mode. Answers to those and many other questions can be answered by going to the site below and downloading and running the boot repair script. If you can boot Ubuntu, do that or use the 'live' Ubuntu install media to go the site. Use the 2nd option described on that page. Select the Create BootInfo Summary option and let it run and when it finishes you will get a pop up windows giving you a url which you can post here so members can see the output. Do NOT try to make any repairs if you are not familiar with bootloaders and Grub in particular just post the link. It would probably be a good idea to read the entire page so you have a basic understanding.

What boot menu? The BIOS/UEFI setting utility? Do you have an option to boot Windows? If Windows Fast start up is activated as well as Bitlocker being on then the Linux/Ubuntu boot loader (Grub) cannot detect the Windows boot files to included them in its own menu. If Grub does not detect more than one operating system's boot files the Grub boot does not appear.

The images you posted in post 5 and 6 show windows as the first boot priority in your BIOS boot options. When you use the down arrow on your keyboard to highlight eithr Ubuntu entry, then hit the enter key, what happens? When you arrow down to the Boot from EFI file and select the Ubuntu entry, what happens. You have not indicated the manufacturer of your computer but whatever it is, you should have an option to change the priority in the BIOS boot options menu. You will never see the Grub menu with windows set to first boot priority.

The problem is not with the GRUB menu but with the fact that I have two identical Linux boot loaders, and both of them launch Ubuntu.

I will tell you my guess. When you tried those suggestions from ChatGPT that did not work you ended up with two sets of Grub boot files in two different places on your drive. This is where an internet link to the Boot Repair summary would prove useful. It will show the partition layout. It may even show the two sets of Grub boot files.

That detail was omitted in your original post. If they both boot and you don't want to see both on boot, delete one of them. The link below explains using efibootmgr to get the various options and boot order and shows examples. It also shows the command to use to delete an entry if you scroll down the page.

This may not work if your computer is an HP but you haven't provided that information. efibootmgr is very limited on HP computers and you will have to go into the BIOS and find a method.
