    LXD 6.2 has been released

    Thomas Parrott on behalf of the LXD team announces the release of LXD 6.2. Thanks is given to all who contributed to the release, before moving to the new features/highlights within. We're reminded of the new snap track, Nvidia GPU Container Device Interface (CDI) enabling iGPU passthrough, improved VM conversions, and more. This is a rather large post, that includes the (very long) full commit list, and details on downloading.

    Michael Larabel reports on the release of an updated Ubuntu 24.10 ARM image for Qualcomm Snapdragon X1 powered laptops. We're reminded the prior 24.10 ISO was focused on the Lenovo Thinkpad X13 laptop, where this ISO should "just work" on more hardware.
