Nerdearla: Homegrown Open Source Conferencing Latin American Style

Christine Hall writes about an "open source conference based in Argentina" that is "branching out to include events" in other countries. The events cater to all things Linux, including Ubuntu. We're given some history, including the start in Buenos Aires as in-person only, to virtual, up to Mexico, Chile, and in the future even wider (Spain for 2025?).

New Steam Client Update Adds Game Recording, Improves Native Linux Gaming

Marius Nestor tells us of a Steam Client update that fixes bugs, and comes with improvements especially a new built-in game recording feature. We're given details, some screenshots, link to the release notes and more.

Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 Rolls Out with Wireless Display Improvements, Bug Fixes

Marius Nestor writes about Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 which includes many fixes, and added support for newer generations of Android HAL allowing it to run on newer Android devices. We're told the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and OnePlus Nord N100 are now supported, told of other fixes and improvements, and given a link the release page. A list of supported devices is included, with mention that some promised VoLTE support has been delayed to a later OTA due to some regressions being detected in testing.
