Access to Ubuntu from Windows prohibited

    Good morning
I'm new to Ubuntu and trying unsuccessfully to share a directory with Samba and Nautilus-Share.
When I type the directory address on my Windows machine, the directory mounts fine, but I cannot read or write to it.
What can I give you to help me get out of here?

Add the share you want to the /etc/samba/smb.conf. There are lots of posts by Morbius1 in these forums. They version of MS-Windows you have matters. The GUI way of accessing Samba storage hasn't worked well in a few years.
