    Talking Battery charging threshold

    Hello fellow Linux users.
For a while now I have been considering getting rid of Windows once and for all and, finally, I did it.
Took all the measures to make sure my experience with Ubuntu included all I needed, in the right place, at the right time. Still learning, but the basics are all set, except for a couple of things, for today: the battery charge threshold.

I use a Samsung laptop, model NP550XDA-KF1BR. On Windows, of course, Samsung provides the consumer with the amazing Samsung Settings app, which ever since the purchase of this device I have used for basically 1 thing: limiting the battery charge threshold to make sure the battery lifespan is longer.
Trying the workaround for enabling this setting in Linux, I found across the internet a tutorial, which involves checking via terminal if the hardware supports limiting the max charge limit, and it seems that my device does not. Weird?
Anyway, it would be of huge appreciation if someone could help me with that.

I do not know of a tool that allows to set that from Linux, but perhaps there is. You should, however, be able to set these thresholds from the system BIOS of your computer.

Yes, I've looked into that, and for some reason it does not. It is the weirdest thing.
