I have just upgraded my xps (Dell Inc. XPS 13 9310) from 24.04.1 to 24.10. I am not able to wake up from resume (I usually opened the lid or press power with previous ubuntu versions). Screen stays black, no light on keyboard. The only I found is to keep power pressed for ~10 seconds and it forces shutdown and restarts (losing all on-going work) Do you have the same issue or do you know how to analyze what is going on ? First time I encounter such problem with ubuntu.
I'm having the same problem after upgrading to 24.10. Solved - I downgraded the Nvidia driver from 560 to 535 and it now waking up from suspend works. Using the open source Nouveau driver also works. Assume it's a bug in the 560 version.

I have same issues with Acer Swicft 3 laptop and also my dekstop (both AMD radeon GPUS)
I think my problem is hardware related. Now the screen stays black (except for a DELL logo at startup) and diagnotic leds warns for a LCD issue. Unfortunately out of warranty and Dell support cannot act due to an already repaired unit.
