I currently have a free Ubuntu Pro account activated, which I initially used for the real-time kernel with PREEMPT_RT on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. Recently, I switched to Ubuntu 24.10, and my system is running the Linux 6.11.0-1001-realtime kernel.
Is it normal for the real-time kernel to still be available on this interim release, considering that the Pro account services were originally intended for LTS versions? Are there any implications or limitations I should be aware of while using this kernel on 24.10?
Thank you for your help!
