I am unsure that anybody could possibly know the answer authoritatively for your system without testing on your system.
In theory, everything that works in 22.04 should continue to work in 24.04
For most users, that is what happens. Some, though, have encountered unexpected (and sometimes non-reproducible) problems. So be prepared.

Back-ups should always be first part of a Version Upgrade.
It is hard for us to tell you all will be good, we just can't. But the Theory is Yes all your personal data should remain intact.
The System will have a bunch of changes though.

Everything will be upgraded to new version and some packages may be removed or replaced by something else if the software doesn't work on newer releases.
But what may or may not be removed is unknown because only you know what software you have installed.
Having run release upgrades now for over a decade I can attest that no upgrade has ever kept everything the same.
There are always changes. Some are minor and some are major.
Only thing I can say is the upgrade will never touch your own personal files, if that's a concern.
Also,
What 3G driver by the way?
