I was using 22.04 until 2 days ago with my Motu M4 usb interface working beautifully. I just installed 24,04 into a newer laptop. Sound is awful. I will post whatever is needed to get some help? "Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should do it." "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
Well, I reinstalled the 22.04 sdd on my Lenovo P52, as it worked great on my Lenovo T440s. I then updated and upgraded the drive. Same exact problem as the sdd with 24.04 on it, so, it's the machine. The issue to be very clear, is a constant stream of noise whether I have my Motu M4 USB interface running or not. Watching YouTube or listening to anything else, there is constant interference like noise happening. Where to begin?
