    problem when accessing another file

I am having a problem when I do little things like have a folder open and want to goto another file, copy something to the folder I have open. What happens is that sometimes (not always) it gives me a tiny little box I cannot read. If I click on the little box it may give me a right sized line from the little box or the entire thing. This is happening virtually all the time even though its on and off. I have no idea why its doing this or what I might be able to fix it.

    Thoughts?

I don't know. But grasping at straws, one idea is go to Settings > Appearance and try different settings such as Icon Size (zoom it up to read the tiny box?). Take note of default settings before playing around. And/or perhaps use Gnome Tweaks to change default settings.

Thank you for the reply. Its very strange. it will, sometimes, give me a teeny little thing with scribbles. If I click on it then it may, or may not, show me one or more lines. I think its doing this to stuff that have directions in them. This is not critical so much as just not right and I was just wondering why it was happening. Since I got your reply there were no others, then, I suspect that this has something to do with my machine.

Thank you for the reply! (i'll marking this done)
