Question Kernel compilation on MacBok Pro T2 ?

    Hi everybody !

I've installed Ubuntu Budgies on my MacBook Pro 16'' 2019 witch has the T2 security. Linux only. I'll keep a copy of macOS on a key for some applications I need but I want to use only linux for all other things.
But for now it's more Ubuntu BUGdies

I have Wifi and bluetooth OK. The sound was OK for 1 time and doesn't work well anymore.
When I close the screen it restart in loop. And others small things.

    May I compile the T2 kernel as said here : https://wiki.t2linux.org/guides/kernel/ ?
Is it "easy" to do ? Will I loose everything (I have a backup of my datas of course) ? If it doesn't go to the end of process will I have to reinstall everything from the begining ?

    Thank you for helping me

Finally I probably have installed a T2 version of Ubuntu.

    uname -a
    Linux xxx-MacBookPro16-1 6.11.1-1-t2-noble #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Sep 30 17:55:16 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
