24.04 uses old kernel after upgrade

Hmm, I did change

GRUB_FLAVOUR_ORDER=oem
to GRUB_FLAVOUR_ORDER=generic

Still using 5.14.0-1049-oem after reboot.

apt policy oem-stella.cmit-pinsir-meta

Is there still Ubuntu 20.04 somewhere? Actually the whole machine is not working properly. Wifi does not work, Libre Office does not start, 200% scaling has its problems (Settings not working with it). At this point I might do a clear reinstall.

And yes, 20.04 still exists and is currently still supported for another 8 months or so with standard support.
(support can be upgraded with Ubuntu Pro (free subscription for personal usage for up to 5 machines, for an additional 5 years)

(Sorry, if it feels like I'm a salesman or something when all i want is to give you all available options on the table.
I can assure you I get nothing out of it, just that I think an additional 5 years is too good an offer to past sometimes.

I did everything that was suggested, which did not help. However, after the last update the new kernel is there and things seem to be working so far (I also had other problems such as scaling as Libre Office did not start). Thanks a lot to everybody!
