Large menu item font in Chromium-based apps

I'm running 24.04.1 LTS on my Dell laptop (upgrade from previous non-LTS version). I'm seeing something strange that is more of a nuisance than a real problem. Recently, I've noticed that the menu item fonts on Chromium-based apps (Chrome, Vivaldi Browser, VS Code) are all really large compare to what I would expect. Here's an example:

As I said, this is just a nuisance at this point, but figured I'd ask.

I think https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/224515 and https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/42262 are the underlying causes.
