I've had a problem ever since I updated my system to 22.04 that I have never figured out. I run Ubuntu 22.04 with gnome-flashback.
I can add program launchers to the top panel and I can move them and delete them, but I cannot modify them. Nothing I change - icon, comment, etc - sticks. I assume that it's because there is no "Save" or "Apply" button? There is only "Revert" and "Close" but I would think that clicking "Close" should save the settings?
Also, I can create, add and even modify icons on the Desktop, but what I cannot do is arrange them! Right-clicking on the Desktop and under Placement, only Auto-Arrange is available. Free and Align Icons to Grid are disabled. I can change the Sort By attribute, though.
None of these are life ending, so I haven't worried too much about them but I need to be able to modify these now. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
