Question accidentally made new account on first SSO signin

Hi, after signing in w/ SSO I found myself in a new forum account (this one). My original account was at https://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=729787

My Ubuntu One account had a new email address set as preferred when I first signed in. I've since found the SSO registration guide sticky, realized my mistake, and reset my Ubuntu One preferred email address back to the one my original account uses.

Would you please disassociate this new account from Ubuntu One, so I can log into my original account as described in the Account queries following change to SSO sticky?

Thanks for the clear instructions on what to do when this happens.

Re: accidentally made new account on first SSO signin

If you do have the correct email set at SSO then you do not need to have the login ID removed from this account first just logout of the forum and back into the forum and you will be in your original account, if you are not pm me and I will take a look and see what the original email is and I can give you a hint but I will leave this account enabled until you have logged back into your original account so you will be able to pm me if needed without creating a third account.
