Question NVIDIA GPU not working on default

Hey! I'd like to get some help about my Nvidia GPU. I'm using POP!_OS right now, all everything is latest and the nvidia ISO was used. Now the problem is the following: on boot the gpu doesn't work only if I use the code "sudo nvidia-smi -pm 1" but I need to do this after every boot. Secondly when using blender for projects (I have everything set up correctly) I can't render a picture out with cycles. When starting render the picture is distorted and on render it becomes a blank black picture for apparently no reason.
1: How can I set the GPU to be automatically on on boot
2: Why is blender doing this?
