    Rookie Mistake Made

Windows user try to convert to Linux user. I tried to just wing an installation of Game Maker Studio 2 like I would in windows. I did not foresee that it would be much more complicated. I used the wiki how to install guide and just ran it with out thinking of where I'm installing the program or anything. I would like to know how to find what I did and how to uninstall (purge, so uber metal) and undo my thoughtless actions. I have since started watching the freecodeaccadamy introduction to Linux on youtube and will be doing the Linux journey course.

Which Linux OS and version are you using? Where did you download the software from? Did you install the Linux version? Did you read through instructions on installing it? The link below gives a description of the process which looks a little complicated unless you are already familiar with the software.

    https://www.wikihow.com/Install-Game...tudio-on-Linux

The link below indicates there are limitations with the software on Linux as the developers focus on windows and Mac. The answer to your questions would be best obtained from the notes you took during the install?

If you downloaded the software from an Ubuntu repository or PPA you might be able to find it using the commands whereis or which followed by the name of the software.

The link below is to their forums which have some threads discussing uninstalling. I din't read through them so I don't know if any of them apply to Ubuntu or Linux.
