I wanted 24.04.
I changed the File Permissions to 777 linux-firmware_20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.31_all.deb.
The installation started and this is the result:
Code:
tomek@no7:~$ sudo apt install /home/tomek/linux-firmware_20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.31_all.deb
Reading package lists... Done
Building a dependency tree... Done
Reading status information... Done
Note, selecting "linux-firmware" instead of "/home/tomek/linux-firmware_20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.31_all.deb"
linux-firmware is already the newest version (20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.31).
linux-firmware marked as manually installed.
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
libminizip1 libwpe-1.0-1 libwpebackend-fdo-1.0-1
To remove them, use "sudo apt autoremove".
0 updated, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 4 not updated.
