But 24 ubuntu is not.

I wanted 24.04.

I changed the File Permissions to 777 linux-firmware_20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.31_all.deb.
The installation started and this is the result:

I wanted 24.04.

So really you want to go from 22.04 to 24.04, and nothing to do with "linux-firmware"
That will come in automatically with 24.04, now I understand your problem, and if it were me I'd wait another week.
