I'm working on fixing a scroll wheel problem (below). While I await answers on my post elsewhere, I'm trying something myself.

What I want to do: Right now I'd like to somehow disable Ubuntu from using high resolution scroll events and see if that might be causing my issues (some sources - albeit on other distros - say that the high- and standard-resolution events can conflict). I've seen a couple general linux guides for doing this related to libinput, but it seems like I don't have the same config files or commands that others do. I'm trying to troubleshoot this on Wayland (need the touchpad gestures) - maybe the others are using X11? Not sure if that makes any difference.
Info:
Ubuntu 22.04.1 (dual booted w/W10)
GNOME/Wayland
Kernel 6.5.0-45-generic
Laptop: Asus Zenbook UX3402ZA
Feel free to also comment about the post on SE if you think I'm barking up the wrong tree haha
