WoW Lutris Sound Crackling

Hi

I'm a returning user after 10+ years still trying to find my feet

I installed World of Warcraft thru Lutris and everything runs well except for the sound which crackles to the point of having to disable it. I've tried a different sound card and still the problem persists.

Can anyone help, please?

Unfortunately, no. I'm on an Intel CPU/Nvidia GPU set up.

Do you have latest drivers for your Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU?

Alternatively try using PipeWire.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, my drivers are up to date. I've heard of PipeWire but don't know how to get it or enable it.

Using apt. I should add I also have PokerStars installed in which sound works perfectly.
