Shutdown problems

However if i reboot my computer all its ok. But if i choose to shutdown, my computer do the attempt but finally only reboots.

First i thought if could be the OS, but i have the same flavour and version in other laptop and all is good.
Then i read it could be the motherboard's version. i updated it, and the error persisted.
I read that it could be the nvidia drivers for linux, but i have changed by others, and all continues with same result.

Can anyone help me?
