Hi, I just upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and the following behavior appeared: - Open a window - Maximize the window - Click on the top bar (the one displaying the date and time, battery level, etc.) => The window is un-maximized and the top half of the screen is highlighted in blue (as if I was trying to drag and drop the window to this top half screen). This looks like a bug to me. I reported it here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2071811 Also reported on reddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/comm...on_top_navbar/ Does anyone else encounter the same issue? Is there any workaround? If you confirm it's a bug, please consider upvoting the bug report so that it gets attention and hopefully gets fixed. Thanks
I can duplicate this on a VM. It's a bit weird. The highlight box (orange on my machine) remains, and won't go away.
Another post about this issue: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2498619 I can't believe stuff like this makes it past QA.
Thank you, @currentshaft. I've left a note on that thread.
