Question Can Rescuezilla recreate bootable partition?

In the past I used to use Clonezilla to create and restore images of my root partition, which more or less contains my entire Kubuntu installation.

However, it seemed that my system wasn't bootable after using Clonezilla to restore my root, so I would then use a Boot Repair disk to fix the error, and then my system would be usable again.

I'm considering using Rescuezilla 2.4.2 for my needs, but I would first like to find out if Rescuezilla can restore a bootable Linux partition without any problems, or extra help.

I realize that this may not be the correct forum to ask such a question, but it seems that there is not a forum dedicated to specifically to Rescuezilla. Also, I'm not an experienced Linux user, so I hope others will understand if my use of terminology is not correct. Any information greatly appreciated.

Below is a description of my PC.

    Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04
    KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7
    KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0
    Qt Version: 5.15.3
    Kernel Version: 5.15.0-112-generic (64-bit)
    Graphics Platform: X11
    Processors: 4 × Intel® Pentium® Gold G5400 CPU @ 3.70GHz
    Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM
    Graphics Processor: NV138

    They do have a forum:

I've never used it so I have no good suggestions
