Odroid Xu4, running ubuntu18 or ubuntu20 on Samsung SD card (for boot and /) without any issue.

After many "read, trial and error" (I can see that some people have had this issue before, some years ago):


1) There is no use of the journal on the SD card at any time (ubuntu18, u20, u22)

2) my workaround is: mount the sd on a linux laptop and remove the whole journal director at /var/log/journal and try to boot again. With that trick 7 out of 10 times will success, if not try to remove the journal dir again (and again until success).
3) Try to disable journal but after the reboot it activate again


My temporary solution is making 2 temp scripts:

The issue is gone when I use a Samsung SD card, but on a new Kingston (also a 32GB) the success rate is 7 out 10 boot.
