Question Are there any modern and supported functioning audio WAV trackers?

Are there any modern and supported functioning audio WAV trackers?

i tried a few old trackers in regular Debian Linux and they tended to crash and had no documentation.

Also, are there any modern and supported functioning audio WAV trackers that work in the terminal?

I'm just looking for something like FL studio's step editor or the old fashioned Apple MacDrums (1990's) type of interface.
OR, it could be the traditional tracker type of thing. Or if you know of a Windows Wine one that works and is freeware.

I'm looking for freeware only, so please don't tell me about ReNoise.

Thanks, I just got LMMS going today.
I had tried it before, but only this time is it making sense to me for some odd reason.

EDIT: FL Studio is working in Wine again now. Cool. Best of both worlds!

    A couple of suggestions:

Ask a new question in a new thread.

Ask music production questions in more specialized forums, like

    https://linuxmusicians.com/

    Thanks for the helpful reply.
Actually, sometimes this place is more helpful than the "specialist" places.
But it varies from year to year.
Thanks though. I had forgotten that LMMS has it's own forum. That could work.
