The graphics card installed, is an old one. Only installed for the initial setup, and just kept it in if i need to hook a screen to it.
The only recent change was the upgrade.

I'm still reading over all information provided so far in this thread, so I'm poking for some information that might lead to a fix.

Ok now lets check your package-manager for updates at least.
One line at a time please:

sudo apt clean
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Post any errors if any from "upgrade" portion.
