My internal Bluetooth quit working so I purchased a tp-link USB adapter not realizing it wasn't Linux compatible. I then purchased an edimax USB adapter because it said it was Linux compatible but didn't read the fine print which says it's only compatible up to kernel version 5.8 and I have 6.5 (Ubuntu 22.04.4). Does anyone know of a USB Bluetooth Adapter that's compatible with the latest Ubuntu / Kernel versions?
Apparently operator error: got on the phone with edimax tech support and she claimed it should work (plug & play). She stepped stepped me through the same setup I'd done yesterday but this time I was able to connect a Bluetooth device and everything worked fine. The only difference was the USB port I used. Case closed: edimax usb bluetooth adapter is working.
