Battery is not charging while charger plugged

I have installed Ubuntu on my lenovo thinkpad e16 gen 1. The issue is while the charger is plugged in, it remains the same and the charging status is not charging. After I remove the charger, the status shows for example 48 percent remaining and the battery begins to drain. I've tried this solution - https://askubuntu.com/questions/1051...g-but-detected. But it is still not working
