I was playing an old game in fullscreen mode with dosbox, but after I ended the session my monitors are now mirrored, and I can't change the settings. I get the error:
Failed to apply configuration: GDBus.Errorrg.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.cinnamon.SettingsDaemon.XRANDR_2 was not provide by any .service files

I asked for help on the Linux Mint forum, but they didn't accept my post and suggested I go here.

But despite deleting cinnamon-settings-daemon-xrandr.desktop from ~/.config/autostart and restarting (several times), the problem persists. One monitor is display port, the other VGA. Running ubuntu 20.06.6 and cinnamon 4.4.8 Any help would be greatly appreciated!.
