General Community News Canonical expands Long Term Support to 12 years starting with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Whilst most readers will be aware that this was going to happen, Canonical has made it official that Ubuntu LTS releases can get additional legacy support (two years), beyond Pro support already available. We're told Wedson started contributing to Rust for Linux back when he worked for Google, and that his development hasn't slowed since moving to Microsoft.
