Hello,
how is, beside general hardware support your overall experience?
for me, after working for quite some time with the xps 14, it's still not completely reliable, as my old xps 13 was. it's working perfectly fine most of the time (beside webcam, of course), it's super fast and has good battery life.
however, wakeing up from standby is ~90% of the time working, but sometimes it isn't and i have to reboot. sometimes i have graphical glitches... and sometimes the system just hangs for 30-60 seconds, which is especially bad in video conferences while sharing the screen.
last problem is, that when it's connected/disconnected to/from an external display. sometimes it also crashes.
i use wayland with latest nvidia drivers (however, set it to intel mode, because i hoped that it might help with graphical glitches, which it didn't).
another problem, which is not linux related is, that usb-c connection to usb-c dell monitors causes the pc to shut down after a few seconds. this also happens on windows (and is not a hardware problem, tried it with 2 devices). other usb-c monitors work fine. it has to be some special communication between the dell products.
just wondering what the experiences of other users are
