Question Can a bookmark list be altered from newer to older ?

    Hello.
I use a 'Marketplace' site often, and bookmark items I need to return later. The list in bookmarks grows considerably some days and have to hunt saved references at the bottom of the list on which my browser (Brave) is not very agile reaching.
Is there a way that newer saved bookmarks be kept at the top of the list also for any other archiving bookmarks folder ?

Make sub-directory, call it Markets, save all of your new bookmarks into Markets. It will be up to you to keep order within your Bookmarks.

Two words: browser extensions. "Auto-Sort Bookmarks" for Firefox seems to do exactly what you want. There's probably something similar for Chrome-based browsers.

Thanks, gentlemen. From the instructions :

Cannot reach/find/open a 'Manager' section on my Brave browser Did find and selected the ' By newest' sequence in some 'organize' choice but does not work. Files are still as they were, by oldest.

    @Holger_Gehrke Thanks for the tip.

Here's how to sort bookmarks in Google Chrome:
    Open Chrome
Select the Side panel down arrow in the top right corner
    Select Bookmarks
    Select Organize
    Choose a sort organization
Select Sort by newest, Sort by oldest, Sort by last opened, Sort by A to Z, or Sort by Z to A
    Cheers,

While I use Firefox a lot and have many bootmarks.
I use Zim for my Forum info.
I started to save common issues & solutions and then had to add pages & sub-pages.
But all the links I save are clickable or like a boot mark. And in Zim there are two search functions.
Find works on current page, & search will locate info anywhere in Zim.

I also now added headings & turned on table of contents in preferences so each sub heading is a jump to point.

Or lots of ways to organize data.
