Here I am trying to find out why it doesn't work and what it needs to be properly working. I reached a point where I think I am close to the actual issue.
I tested it on a pi4 running a debian-based distro. Don't know how much more you expect it to be "like". Hardware being non-supported can eat lots of time and always be "close to working", but never actually work.

I hope you find a solution, but it has been 2 weeks already.
