+1 -- Normal. I saw it updated just fine. Sometimes, on the repo's, it does get a Get Error when the are syncing repo's, but I just try again later and it works.

Security updates for CVE's may get updated or backported, but some do need Ubuntu Pro for older releases. I usually look up what the Ubuntu CVE pages say themselves:
CVE-2022-40982
CVE-2023-20593

See where on that page:

"Canonical keeps track of all CVEs affecting Ubuntu, and releases a security notice when an issue is fixed."

I "choose" to do all my update patches manually, and I keep up with them. Maybe that is just how I manage my OCD tendencies.

to turn off run

sudo pro config set apt_news=false
