Hello. I have an old Pc with an Intel Celeron 3.06Ghz 64bit supported and 2gb of ram. Everytime i try to boot from an usb into Xubuntu safe graphics I get this Errormessage: kernel panic - not syncing: no working init found. try pass init= option to kernel. See Documentation/admin-guide/init.rst for guide (my screen is a bit cut of because i don't have the right resolution and i don't know how to change it so maybe some words are missing) Would be great if someone could help me.

Hi and welcome to the forums Even assuming we can help you get past this error, running Xubuntu on only 250MB of RAM could be quite challenging. I have an old Intel Atom netbook with 1GB RAM and that struggles from time to time depending on the task. I can suggest some alternatives to try: Lubuntu AntiX Bodhi Linux Puppy Linux Something to consider...

Thanks for the fast reply. I actually have more than 250mb ram that was a typo. The system originally came with 3gb of ram but i still have to test them eatch because i had an error when i had all of them installed. I actually allready tried to use other operating systems but i got the kernel panic error everytime.

So now i've testet other memory sticks and it turns out one memory stick was faulty so now my system has 2gb ram.
I've found the error, the Motherboard was broken.
Dang... My condolences. Hopefully you can find something inexpensive to continue your journey. We are always here to help you when you do.
