    Sorry, I should have provided more information in my post. I am running Ubuntu as a virtual machine in Windows. That output from ps -p$PPID is from running Ubuntu in Powershell. The reason I am not running Tilix is that the font is too small for me to read comfortably and I am unable to change it. I cannot input or change any of the fields in Profile.

    So rather that a Graphical Terminal inside of Ubuntu, you are running Ubuntu in WSL.

    You probably should have mentioned that in your original post.

    WSL runs in a Windows Command prompt window. To do copy /paste in that:
    - Open a command line window.
    - Right-click an empty part of the title bar and select "Properties"
    - Select the "Use Ctrl + Shift + C / V as Copy/Paste" option, and then click the "OK" button.
