Custom Mouse Settings Wayland?

Ubuntu 22.04

When using X11 I can identify the mouse and remap the buttons easily using xinput. What is the equivalent in Wayland?

If there is nothing native I will consider any apps.

I've tried using piper, which doesn't see any input devices, and evdevremapkeys which seems to have no effect. Those were GPT suggestions.

My application uses X11 only for the ease of remapping mouse and I would like to change to Wayland.
